Angular dependent photo and electroluminescence
Our fully automated home-built apparatus can measure angular and polarisation dependent light emission of LEDs and thin film samples being excited with a laser. Molecular dipolar orientation can be determined from these measurements in conjunction with numerical simulations.
The angular dependent photo- and electroluminescence setup allows for a wavelength dependent excitation of thin film samples, where different CW laser units provide excitation wavelengths between 405 nm and 975 nm. The photo-and electroluminescence signals of the device under test can be detected using different photodiode sensors or ultra-fast photo-receivers with variable gain.
